DVDShrink & Nero BR 6

I have been using the above for years. Along with AnyDVD it provides functions that other programs don't (selective compression of just the titles of least importance, etc.).

Recently I upgraded to Win7 and DVDShrink would no longer auto-burn to blank media. I tracked this down to needing to install Nero Burning ROM. I went out and bought the latest version (10) but DVDShrink doesn't play with it.

Fast forward a week or two and, after several e-mails with the Nero people, I was told they no longer support, or have available v6.x. I was requesting an activated copy of 6 to legally use as an owner of v10. My last contact with them was that I could only conclude that they have no problem with me tracking down the v6 download and files needed to activate it. They never responded with a disagreement to that assumption, so I am moving forward.

...only I can't find v6.x and either the cracked files or the activation key for it.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

If you want the right direction, then why not use ImgBurn. It works without any problems and still gets updated, (I believe) and serves any other burning purposes. I think I stopped using Nero back in 05, some people are scared of change, but there are lots of better programs out there.
