Programming Error???

Postby hightek505 » Fri Feb 16, 2007 3:33 am

i've been using DVD Shrink for a while now, but i'm getting an error that I have not gotten in the past. I start to back-up the DVD and automatically it pops up with the error message that says "Programming Error - Exception Occurred". I click OK and the program just shuts down. I have tried doing different back up things, such as using making an ISO file, making individual files, making the ISO file then burning it. All options give me the same error message. Any ideas on what's going on or how to resolve it?

My ideas are in the sticky notes at the top of the forum. Or you can click on the one in my signature line below.

Look for 'programming error'.

i tried that and got the same error. I don't have a problem burning, the problem is when DVDShrink is trying to encode the video.

Thev problem is encryption, DvdShrink cannot get past the latest encryption codes.

Here is a link, all the info you need is in the first post.

I am glad it worked for you. I have tried several methods and anytime I get that particular error, NO encryption remover programs will stop DVDShrink from giving me this error. I have to use Apollo DVD copy exclusively.
